Steven Bert Hilleren, 63, of Benson, Minnesota passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021, at Carris Health-Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. Visitation was Tuesday, December 7, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment was in the Benson City Cemetery.  
Steven Bert Hilleren was born November 27, 1957 in Benson, the son of Bert Noel and Myrtle Lucile (Mills) Hilleren. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith in Benson. He grew up and attended school in Benson.
Steven was a friendly, welcoming and happy person. He liked trucks and was an over the road trucker. He enjoyed fishing and cooking on his grill. He was a specially fond of his dog, Cocoa.
Steven was called from this life Thursday morning, November, 25, 2021 at Carris Health-Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. He attained the age of 63 years, 11 months and 28 days.
Steven is survived by his mother: Myrtle Hilleren of Benson; siblings: Debbie Kramlet of Benson, David Hilleren of Albertville  and Rebecca (Justin) Stoltman of Leawood, KS; and several nieces and nephews.
Steven was preceded in death by his father: Bert Hilleren and his brother: Larry Hilleren.
