Honor Flights thank America’s veterans

Editor’s note: Bob Cook was among Minnesota veterans who participated in a recent Honor Flight to Baltimore, MD, Washington, D.C., and Arlington, VA. There are 134 hubs across the country that form the Honor Flight Network. These hubs and their volunteers truly make our mission a success. They freely donate their time and talents to coordinate flights, bus trips, welcome home ceremonies, thousands of letters, and so much more—all with the common goal to honor our nation’s heroes with the trip of a lifetime. Through the Honor Flight Network’s Lone Eagle program, we are able to serve those veterans who live in areas with no local hub, further extending the reach of our impact.
