Scott Castillo Jr. 38, of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota passed away September 30, 2021 unexpectedly at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sat., Nov. 6 from 1-3 p.m. at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, Benson.
Scott was born July 22, 1983 in Minneapolis. Scott was an insurance adjuster in Minneapolis and the surrounding area. He also was active in gun training.
Scott enjoyed hunting and spending quality time with his children.
Scott is survived by his wife, Kari Castillo of Brooklyn Park; son Sawyer Swensrud of Marshall; mother Julie (Stan Barker) Forbord of Benson, father Scott (Donna) Castillo of Champlin; sister Amber Castillo of Minneapolis; grandmother Constance Castillo of Chicago, IL; niece Alyssa Castillo of Minneapolis and nephews Owen Castillo and Hayden Castillo, both of Minneapolis.
Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents: Fernando Castillo and Blanche and Orvis Forbord.
