Saints pull off two Camden Conference wins

KMS was able to earn their first Camden Conference win of the season when they went on the road to take on the Sting in Granite Falls. The Saints won all three sets to sweep YME.
The Saints were down Avea Finstrom in the middle due to injury, but Emily Finstrom stepped in and filled in admirably. KMS played from in front in the first set and worked their way to a 25-21 win. YME fought hard in the second set, but KMS still escaped with a 27-25 win in the second set. KMS finished off the sweep with a 25-19 win in the third set.
“The girls made a lot of mental errors, missed communication and also missed 15 serves the whole night. We have never experienced that before, so it made us work harder to finish on top,” head coach Tami Ruf said.
