Raymond “Ray” Thomas Muehlbauer, 67, Danvers, MN, died Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, MN. Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, Tuesday, April 20th followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at the Church of the Visitation Catholic Church in Danvers, MN. Raymond Thomas Muehlbauer was born September 16, 1953, in Appleton, Minnesota, the son of Sylvester and Marie (Peerboom) Muehlbauer. Ray was baptized and confirmed at Church of the Visitation Catholic Church in Danvers. He was raised in the Danvers area where he attended school, graduating from Benson High School, Class of 1971. Ray enjoyed quilting, putting puzzles together, building things, playing cards, fishing, mowing, and most of all…visiting with family and friends.
Over the years, Ray worked for Jenni O Foods in Willmar and Friendship Homes in Montevideo. Ray also worked with his Dad on the farm for many years. As his parents aged, Ray helped to take care of them and the farm. He was a member of Church of the Visitation in Danvers and the Knights of Columbus.
Ray passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021, in Rice Memorial Hospital. He attained 67 years, 6 months, and 27 days of age. Ray is survived by his beloved furry companion, Jingle-Bells; siblings: JoAnn Dokken of Appleton, Thomas (Marcella) Muehlbauer of Aurora, CO, Timothy (Mary) Muehlbauer of Clara City, Deann (Dave) Bennett of New Folden, Leo (Sandy) Muehlbauer of Benson, David (Linda) Muehlbauer of Benson, Gloria Muehlbauer (Kevin Hammond) of Benson, and Kathryn Muehlbauer of Danvers; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Marie Muehlbauer; his furry companion Snowball; two grandchildren; a infant brother, Michael; his grandparents and brother in-law, LeRoy Dokken. Blessed be the memory of Raymond Thomas Muehlbauer.
