Raymond D. Johnson

Raymond Dale Johnson, 67, of Morris, Minnesota (formerly of Benson) passed away Jan. 31, 2024 at Homestead Place North, in Benson after a valiant battle with Parkinson’s disease.

A Visitation was held Saturday, Feb 3, 2024 from  2-5 p.m.  at Pedersen Funeral and Cremation Services in Morris.  A Memorial Service was held Sunday, Feb 4, 2024 at First Lutheran Church in Morris.

Ray was the son of Ingy and Hazel Johnson of Benson.  He was married to Jane Fischer Johnson of rural Holloway on July 30, 1983.  They were blessed with three sons: Damon Johnson and partner Davianne Jones of Moorhead; Joshua and Stephanie (Voss) Johnson of Moscow, ID; Solomon Johnson of Morris.

Ray had three brothers: Craig (Bonnie) Johnson of Plymouth; Keith (Ann) Johnson of New Prague; Dana (Mary), Johnson of Fargo, ND;  one sister: Wanda Philbrick of Benson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers: Craig and Keith; sister in-law Sherry Wentler. He is survived by his wife Jane, his sons: Damon, Josh and Solomon; sister Wanda; brother: Dana; sisters-in-law: Mary Johnson, Bonnie Johnson, Ann Johnson; in-laws: Don and Diane Fischer, Carol and Mike Banken, Patty and Rick Bahl, many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
