KMS softball takes down Benson 11-1

The KMS softball team hosted Benson in Murdock for the battle of Swift County April 24. KMS was coming off a 10-run loss to YME the day before and were able to turn the tables against the Braves with an 11-1 win over Benson in five innings of play.
Benson started off the scoring in the bottom of the first inning with a single run. That lead lasted until KMS went off for five runs in the top of the third inning. The Saints added three runs in the fourth and three more in the fifth to end the game with an 11-1 win over Benson.
