Gloria Lee Nelson

Gloria L Nelson entered heaven June 12, 2021 at the age of 80.

A service to be held Wednesday, September 1 at Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Road, St Louis Park, Minnesota. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials are preferred to Children’s Minnesota Hospital Minneapolis campus.

Gloria graduated from Benson High School and Swedish Hospital School of Nursing. As an RN, Gloria lovingly cared for children at Fairview Southdale Hospital pediatric department and Minneapolis Children’s Hospital PICU.

She was preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law Sadie and Ted Abrahamson.  

Blessed to have had Gloria in their lives are nephews and nieces: Doug (Carol) Abrahamson, Karen Abrahamson, Nancy (Dave) Kuker, Bruce (Beth) Abrahamson, Sue (Ken) Mc Dermott and their families. Gloria is also remembered by many wonderful cousins and dear friends that enriched her life. Aloha Oha!
