The Benson/KMS girls and boys track and field team were the first spring sport to start their competition season at the Prairie Conference Indoor meet at St. John’s University March 27. B/KMS finished with nine event wins for both boys and girls.

As the first spring sport to officially start, the B/KMS boys and girls track and field team will lean on their varsity experience throughout the season. Between both boys and girls, B/KMS returns seven athletes who competed in the Class A State Championships in 2025 and are looking to make it back this season.
The B/KMS girls will be led by six seniors, including: Keala Carroll, Julia Claussen, Brooke Hoberg, Sophia Krusemark, Grace Nagler and Ava Noble. Noble is from KMS and the rest of the seniors are from Benson. The girls roster 7-12 features 35 athletes with 29 from KMS and 16 from Benson. The boys team has a pair of seniors leading the way, including Connor Oehlberg from Benson and Talen Riley from KMS.
