Benson football falls to second straight state-ranked team

After dropping their opening game of the season on the road against Breckenridge, the Benson Braves hosted their home opener against Upsala/Swanville Area in Benson Sept. 11. There was no rest for the Braves as USA came into the 2026 season as the fifth ranked team in Class A and beat up on Benson after the first quarter with a 52-7 win over the Braves.
