Benson boys fall twice at Redwood Valley Tourney

The Benson boys basketball team competed at the Redwood Valley Tournament, Wednesday and Thursday, losing both games.
Benson fell to Redwood Valley in the first game, Wednesday, 67-50, and also lost to Martin County West in the third-place game, Thursday, 70-59.  Lakeview edged Redwood Valley for the tournament title, 66-55.
The 59 points is a season-high for the Braves, who had been held under 40 points in four-straight games leading up to the Redwood Tourney.
Benson fell to 0-7 overall and 0-2 in the WCC heading into this week’s action, which includes a game at BOLD, Thursday (tomorrow), and a game at home against Lac qui Parle, Saturday....
