Election 2026: So far, no school board filings

As of Monday evening, no candidates had filed for election to the District 777 Board of Education.
It is a body that sets policy and develops budgets for Benson High School and the Northside Elementary School. Filings for office close at 5 p.m. July 28.
Four of the seven seats on the school board will be on the Nov. 3 ballot this year.
