A memorial service for A memorial service for Steven Michael Hughes (Howdie), 52, was held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church in Appleton with Pastor Ron officiating. A fellowship lunch followed the service in the church basement.
Burial will be at a later date in Danvers.
Steven was born March 25, 1961 to Clyde and Arlene (Rundle) Hughes of Danvers.
Steven passed away unexpectedly in his home in River Falls, Wisconsin April 4, 2013. Steven had reached the age of 52 years and 10 days.
Steven was baptized at the Church of the Visitation in Danvers. He attended school in Danvers and Benson. Steve left behind his twin children Toby and Tiffany Hughes of River Falls, his mother Arlene Lokken of Willmar; siblings: Debra (John) Dixson of Belgrade, Douglas (Michelle) Hughes of Litchfield, Vince (Vicky) Hughes of Appleton, Sandra (Rob) Robinson of Pennsylvania, Lisa (Craig) Bohlman of Appleton, Theresa Guse of Appleton, Brenda Hughes of St.Peter, Linda (Chris) Cromarti of North Carolina, Sue (Dave) Greig of Motley, Mary (Aaron) Prigge of Belgrade, Joseph (Stacey) Hughes of Kansas; 25 nieces and nephews; his godmother Janice Schuerman; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and all of his many friends.
