RDC developing five-year plan

When economic developers, city council members, county commissioners, and school district board members are asked what the primary challenges to their growth and success are, two replies generally top the list: affordable and accessible childcare, and affordable housing.
Both are essential to people moving to a community to take a job, start their own businesses, and enroll their kids in a school.
Does that still hold true or are new needs developing that local leaders need to be aware of as they look to serving the needs of their constituents?
