Earlier this year, Benson Public Schools asked our community an important question: What matters most as we navigate difficult financial decisions?

On several significant questions, our community was nearly evenly divided: Class sizes, Staff vs. programs, Breadth vs. focus.

There is no single path forward that satisfies every priority at once. Instead, each decision will require thoughtful consideration of trade-offs, clear reasoning, and a commitment to keeping student impact at the center...We are grateful for that partnership, and we are committed to honoring it as we take the next steps together.
