Plowboys end season with 11-9 loss to Rosen

The Benson Plowboys season came to an end last Saturday night with an 11-9 loss to Rosen in the consolation round of the Land O’ Ducks Tourney.

The Plowboys, who ended the season with a 4-12 overall record, earned a forfeit win over Appleton to open up the tourney and then lost to Dumont (3-2) and beat Dawson (4-1) before losing to Rosen in the elimination game.

Despite finishing only 4-12, the Plowboys had a great season.  Benson lost three games this summer by one run to Appleton (1-0), Hancock (6-5), and Dumont (3-2) and also lost by two or three runs to Dawson (7-4), Morris (5-2), and Rosen (11-9)...
