Lakers shut out by NLS, 7-0

NLS outhit the Lakers 11-6 on the way to a 7-0 victory at Spicer during County Line baseball action, Friday night.

The Twins got three hits from Scott Rambow, including a homerun, along with two hits each by Jake Rambow, Mike Danielson, and Derk Dolezal.

Norway Lake-Sunburg dropped to 1-7 overall with the loss.  It was the fifth time in eight games the Lakers have been held to one or less runs.

Weston Gjerde took the loss on the mound for the Lakers, giving up 10 hits, seven runs, and four walks over 4 2/3 innings with seven strikeouts.  Regan Carlson and Ryan Torkelson pitched in relief, holding the Twins to no runs over the final 3 1/3 innings.
Ethan Haugen earned the victory for NLS, holding the Lakers to just three hits over five innings...
