CoreCivic signs contract with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement
Tuesday morning, Prairie Correctional Facility’s owner CoreCivic announced that it was awarded a new contract with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for housing detainees at the Appleton prison.
“The new contract commences on Aug. 11, for a term of five years,” CoreCivic stated in its news release. “The agreement provides for a fixed monthly payment plus an incremental per diem payment based on detainee populations.
