Dairy expansion generates concern

Editor’s note: Riverview has large dairy facilities in Swift County, including Swenoda and its Dublin Dairy operation. It’s proposed operation in Stevens County could have an impact on the Pomme de Terre River Watershed that runs through western Swift County.

Riverview LLP’s proposal to construct an 11,000 animal dairy cow feedlot next to its 7,855 dairy cow operation in Synnes Township southwest of Morris is drawing widespread attention and concern.
