County considers road responsibilities

Swift County has more gravel and bituminous roads to maintain than it has funds to take care of them. That is creating a challenge in deciding where to allocate the limited funds it has available each year.
At their meeting July 21, the Swift County Board of Commissioners again discussed the challenges it faces in maintaining roads that are its financial responsibility.
