Cities left to regulate cannabis use, for now

Communities around Minnesota are taking steps to prepare for the legalization of recreational marijuana next Tuesday as they wait for more direction on the rules and regulations that will govern sales.
The City of Benson has passed a temporary moratorium law addressing the sale of cannabis products and established a group to look into rules for its sale and use in the community. Swift County has done nothing along the lines of passing ordinances or establishing a committee to consider local rules and regulations so far.
