Voters asked to support education

When voters go to the polls Nov. 3, they will find an operating levy referendum on the ballot for District 777 schools. It proposes removing the current $700-per student levy that supports educational programs, teachers, and extracurricular activities at Benson High School and Northside Elementary School. At the same time, it would increase that amount to $1,400 per student.
