1.01 GENERAL NOTICE
Chippewa & Swift Joint County Drainage Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
ISG (the Engineer) Project No. 15-18675
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by ISG (the Engineer) electronically through QuestCDN until March 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be posted publicly online.
The project includes the following major categories of Work:
1. Open ditch cleaning with spoil removal through wetland/cattail
marsh areas.
2. The installation and removal of construction mats used
for access.
3. Hauling of spoil out of wetland areas and leveling in
offsite upland areas.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Swenoda Township, County of Swift, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the Third Tuesday in March.
The Election Poll hours will be open from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at which time voters will elect:
One Supervisor for a three year term.
One Clerk for a two year term.
The Annual meeting will commence at 4:00 pm to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

CALL FOR QUOTES

Notice is hereby given that quotes are being solicited by Swenoda Township for the following at an hourly rate: grading, mowing of road ditches, and snow removal for the 2022-2023 winter season. Quotes are also being solicited for class 5 gravel on a per yard basis delivered anywhere in Swenoda Township. Board reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, to waive any information therein and to accept quotes deemed most advantageous to the Township.
Quotes should be received by March 8, 2022 along with Certificate of Insurance. Remit to Laurie Golden, 660 110th St SW, Danvers, MN 56231.
Quotes will be opened at our regular monthly meeting in March 2022.

The meeting was called to order at 5:32 p.m. by Chair Brian Samuelson. Members present: Brian Samuelson, Paul Carruth, Mary KW Langan, Bill McGeary, Eric Peterson and James Berens (arrived at 6:03 p.m.). Members absent: Gary Williams. Also present: Dennis Laumeyer, Mike Knutson, Garrett Schmidt, Katie Foley, Reed Anfinson, Mark Grussing, Representative Tim Miller.
Organization of School Board: Brian Samuelson elected Chairperson, Gary Williams elected Vice-Chair, Mary KW Langan elected Clerk, Bill McGeary elected Treasurer.
School board meeting schedule approved as presented for 2022.
Swift County Monitor-News designated as the official newspaper.
All Minnesota Depositories, First Security, Bank of the West, PMA Financial, TD Ameritrade and Minnesota Liquid Asset Fund, or successors, designated as the Depositories.
Authorized the Director of Finance to make electronic funds transfers and the Superintendent and Director of Finance to apply for Federal, State and other grants and programs.
Swift County-Benson Health Services named as the official school physicians on call.
Authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairperson to select an attorney as needed at their discretion.
Set the 2022 School Board compensation at the same rate as in 2021: $1,700/year; Chairperson $1,200/year; Clerk $1,000/year; Treasurer $0/year.
The School Board Chair will appoint the School Board Committees.
