INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 777,

Monday, March 8, 2021 – 4:30 p.m.
Northside Elementary School Cafeteria
The meeting was called to order at 4:32 p.m. by Chair Brian Samuelson.  Members present:  Paul Carruth, Mary KW Langan, Brian Samuelson, Bill McGeary, Eric Peterson, Gary Williams and James Berens arrived at 4:33 p.m.  Members absent:  None.  Also present: Dennis Laumeyer, Mike Knutson, Garrett Schmidt, Katie Foley, Lori Eix, Reed Anfinson.
No Additions to the Agenda.
Agenda approved.
No Citizens Comments.
Consent Agenda approved.
Progress Reports presented by the administrators.
Board Committee Reports:  A Budget Committee meeting will be held on Friday, March 12th.
500 Series Policies 510, 511, 512, 513 approved based on changes recommended by MSBA to meet law.
2021-2022 SWWC Cooperative Service Agreement approved.
BHS Registration Guide 2021-2022 approved.
March 22 School Board Work Session was cancelled.
Donations Approved:  Dody Fuchs Abbott Scholarship: $300 Michael Abbott; Discovery Kids: $10,000 Grant BNSF Railway Foundation; Craig Johnson Memorial Scholarship: $50 Ron Hofstedt; $200 Karen Bihrle; Northside Rec Area Improvement Project: $93.13 Benson Baseball Association; Grand Piano Donation: $1,000 Steve Ricard Painting; Open Gym Sponsorship Donations: $50 Angela Nissen; $50 Dennis Laumeyer; $50 CVEC; $50 Lisa Peterson; $50 Emily Habben; $50 Track Bar & Grill.
The board went into closed session at 5:30 p.m. for purposes of completing the mid-year evaluation of the superintendent.  The closed session ended at 6:14 p.m.
