Lack of offense leads to two more losses for Benson girls basketball team

A shortage of offense continued to hurt the Benson girls basketball team, which dropped two WCC games last week to Sauk Centre (66-22) and Melrose (45-20).
The Braves, who fell to 0-19 overall and 0-12 in the conference, have scored more than 40 points only four times this season.
Benson has three games this week, starting with a home game with Lakeview, Monday, and continuing with a game at Minnewaska, Thursday (tomorrow) and at home against KMS, Friday.  The regular-season finale is set for Tuesday, Feb. 21 at Morris before the start of the playoffs Saturday, Feb. 25, most likely at NLS....
