Krieger leads KMS girls to win over Braves

The Benson girls basketball team suffered a cold-shooting week last week which led to three losses for the Braves.  Benson averaged just 34 points per game in losing at Hancock last Tuesday night (36-33), to KMS at home, Thursday (61-33), and to Minnewaska Area in another home game, Saturday (61-37).
Benson has now been held in the 30s five times while dropping to 4-10 overall and 2-4 in the WCC.
The Braves hope to turn things around this week with a game at Melrose Area, Friday followed by the next home game, Tuesday, Jan. 22 versus the state’s top-ranked team, Sauk Centre...
