Benson girls go perfect 2-0 against HLOF, YME

The Benson girls basketball team continues to improve over the course of the year, picking up two wins last week. First, the Braves earned a 71-30 win over Heron Lake-Okebena-Fulda at home Jan. 15. Later in the week at another home game, the Braves picked up their second win in a row over Yellow Medicine East 59-42. Elle Kletscher led the team in scoring in both games and finished with 42 combined points in two games.

The Braves picked up their third win of the season when they welcomed HLOF to Benson. Benson had one of the most complete games of the season and blew out HLOF by 41 points.
The Braves had one of the best stretches of basketball they have had this season to start the game against HLOF. They scored the first 13 points five minutes into the game.
