Williams resigns from school board

With School Board Member Gary Williams’ resignation from the District 777 Board of Education at Monday night’s meeting, the board is looking for someone to fill his seat.
There are two years and nearly six months remaining in Williams’ term. However, the person who fills the seat will only serve the time remaining for it in 2026.
