Rotary International would like to establish a club for the Benson area and has scheduled a meeting at McKinney’s on Southside for Tuesday, April 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
At the meeting, it will gauge local interest for what would be called the Benson Passport club of Rotary.
The April 25 meeting is open to all who are interested in finding out more about what Rotary clubs do and becoming members.
The Benson Passport club will be a hybrid club that will be open to people in the immediate Benson area and also to others who might be interested in Rotary and the projects Rotary is involved with in the wider area. By hybrid, the organization means members will also be able to participate through a Zoom connection or other online platforms.
