NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:
There will be a meeting of the Swift County Planning Commission on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers at the Benson City Hall, 1410 Kansas Ave., Benson, MN to consider the following:
IN THE MATTER OF:  Stanley & Katherine Claussen, 1030 70th St., Montevideo, MN  56265 (Owner) and Riverview LLP, 26406 470th Ave., Morris, MN  56267 (Purchaser)
REQUEST:  Conditional Use Permit to establish a new 9,500 animal unit (9,500 head) dairy in Swenoda Township.  The dairy farm manure and waste water storage structures will consist of five clay basins, five concrete structures and one run off basin.  The dairy farm will generate approximately 85,000 gallons of manure annually. The dairy farm will also construct seven non-manure related structures.
LOCATION: SE ¼ & S ½ of the NE ¼ & E ½ of the SW ¼ of Section 36, Twp-120, R-40, Swenoda Township, Swift County, MN.
All interested persons may appear and be heard at said place and time.
