Council places moratorium on building in Benson B-2 district

Benson’s City Council is proposing to place a temporary moratorium on building in an area zoned B-2 on the north side of Atlantic Avenue/Minnesota Highway 9 west between 15th Street North and the Dairy Queen.

The B2 district is one block deep and is bordered by Utah Avenue on the north.  It includes residential properties but also the Meadow Lane Restorative Care facility and the Dairy Queen.
