Over the past several months, the effort to bring a chaplaincy program to the area has gradually taken shape.
While not fully ready to engage with as a formal program, its organizers have announced they are informally reaching out to the community and its residents who may need someone to listen to their concerns.
While the goal is to eventually have a place where people can gather, for now the chaplaincy effort will focus on individuals.
They have adopted a mission, vision, and values statement for the organization.
Mission: Provide a compassionate and caring presence in the Benson area community.
