NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR MN DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SMALL CITIES DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM CDBG-CV APPLICATION
  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Benson will conduct a public meeting on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 5:30 PM, at Benson City Hall Council Chambers, 1410 Kansas Avenue, Benson, MN 56215 in order to submit under the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development Small Cities Development Program Unit Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus Response Round 1 (CDBG-CV) and solicit public input. Limited seating available. Masks required.
 
Proposed CDBG-CV Budget and Use of Funds
  The City of Benson anticipates submitting an application under the CDBG-CV in an amount not to exceed $600,000 for the following eligible activities (activity amounts include Activity and Delivery and Admin):
Retrofitting Building & Community Rehabilitation                                              $600,000
 
  The 10-day comment period on the Proposed CDBG-CV Grant Application will be May 5, 2021 through May 17, 2021.

  The purpose of this public hearing is to give the public an opportunity to make their comments known on the proposed activities/application. Individuals and organizations may submit written comments to the office of the Community & Business Development Specialist, 1410 Kansas Ave, Benson, MN 56215, prior to the hearing.
