Zosel, Knutson, Evenson lead Benson to fifth place at Braves Wrestling Classic

The Benson wrestling team hosted the Braves Wrestling Classic, Friday, placing fifth of 10 teams.  Tracy Area won the overall title with 237 points, edging Canby  by 20 points for the team title.
Aaron Zosel, Jared Knutson, and Grant Evenson led the Braves at the tournament with third-place finishes, while Adam Koosmann and Mike Nagler were  both fourth, and Brady Ascheman and Dylan Stewart were both fifth.
Zosel went 3-1 at 145 pounds and is now five wins away from reaching 100 victories for his career.  Knutson (13-2) and Zosel (12-3) lead the Braves in wins this season.
Next up for Benson is a match at Morris Area-CA-Hancock, Friday, Jan. 5....
