KMS senior Maddy Rohner commits to playing basketball at M-State-Fergus Falls
New M-State-Fergus Falls girls basketball coach Jodi Holleman reports that KMS senior Madison Rohner has committed to playing basketball for the Lady Spartans. “I accepted the job in March and have been busy recruiting. M-State did not have a team last year due to lack of players, but I hit the ground running and now have 10 players, including Maddy. I can’t wait to coach her,” Holleman said. Rohner was a three-sport athlete at KMS, earning All-Conference honors in basketball and track and field and also participating in tennis. “I am extremely excited that Maddy has decided to play basketball at M-State,” said incoming head coach Jodi Holleman, of Hancock. “I have had my eye on her for the past three years and watched her develop into a great player. Any player that has scored 1,104 points and pulled down 937 rebounds in her career is going to dominate in the MCAC.” Rohner was the MVP, Offensive MVP and captain for the Saints this year and was also named co-MVP of the conference and second team All-Area.
