Memorial  services for Wade Ascheman will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 with a graveside prayer service at 11 a.m. at the St. Malachy Cemetery in Clontarf, Minnesota with lunch to follow at the Clontarf Hall.
Wade Ascheman was born December 29, 1972 at the Swift County Benson Hospital to Wayne and Donna (Klucas) Ascheman. He spent his childhood on the family farm near Clontarf. He developed a love for hunting and fishing and could often be found fishing the ditches of Clontarf Township with his red and white striped Dardevle.
Wade graduated from Benson High School and obtained a certificate in automotive technology at Ridgewater. He spent 24 years employed by the city of Benson in the streets department, retiring in April of this year due to health issues. He passed away at CentraCare Hospital in Benson  May 19, 2024.
He is survived by his sons: Hunter Ascheman and Joe Ascheman; parents, Wayne and Donna (Klucas) Ascheman;  grandmother, Evelyn Ascheman; sisters: Tanya (John) Liychik, Andrea (Arnie) Arndt and many others including stepchildren Tyler Cline, Ashton Cline, and Corissa Gades, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and coworkers.
Wade was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francis Ascheman and Melvin and Marjorie Klucas.
Special thanks to Merrilee Ascheman for providing support during the past few months as he became increasingly ill and to the first responders that assisted at the time of his death.
Arrangements are by the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
Memorials are preferred.
