Volleyball and football get go-ahead for this fall
The MSHSL voted on Monday to reinstate volleyball and football this fall. The MSHSL Board of Directors has voted to start volleyball Sept. 28 with 10 days of preseason practices. The first competitions will begin Thursday, Oct. 8 with an 11-week season and 14 dual competitions.
The Board also approved football to start Sept. 28 with practices and Oct. 9-10 for the first game. Football will last 10 weeks and involve a 6-game regular-season and a two-week tournament, whose format has yet to be decided.
