Track teams open up season at Minnewaska

The Benson-KMS track and field teams opened up the 2021 season at the Minnewaska Area Invitational, Thursday.  The girls team placed third, while the boys team was fourth in the five-team field.
Benson-KMS will not have any home meets this season due to a new track being constructed this spring and summer.
Next up for the track teams is a meet at BOLD, Thursday (tomorrow), followed by a meet at Morris Area, Thursday, April 29.
The track teams failed to send any athletes to the state meet for the second year in a row in 2019, and there was no track season in 2020 due to COVID-19.
