Time for a fresh start for Benson-KMS gymnastics

The Benson-KMS gymnastics program gets a fresh start this season after losing two long-time varsity gymnasts and also bein only weeks away from christening their new gymnastics center just north of the high school.

Mariah Ahrndt and Allie Mitteness are lost from last year’s team, and Ahrndt was a six-time All-Conference awardwinner who also qualified to state three times.

That leaves two major openings for the younger gymnasts and with 34 gymnasts on this year’s team, there will be plenty of competition for the remaining varsity spots...
