Jesse E. Pahl, 103, passed away  Sunday morning, October 16, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Benson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m.  Friday, October 21, at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. Visitation will be held  Thursday, October 20, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the St Francis Catholic Church in Benson, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be in the St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery in DeGraff, Minnesota.

Rose Mary Nokleby, 91, of Montevideo, Minnesota passed away peacefully October 5, 2016 in Hastings.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday October 29, 2016 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 512 Black Oak Ave., Montevideo,  with a gathering of family and friends one hour  prior to Mass at church.

A private interment will take place at the Hillside Cemetery in Havelock Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated to the Red Wing Mayo Hospice, and the Regina Senior Living.

Rose Mary grew up on a farm in Swift County, went to country school, then high school in Benson. She married Vernal Nokleby and they farmed in Mandt Township. They semi-retired in 1976 and began many years of travel in Europe and the U.S., including camping and living in their trailer at the lake.

Palmer R. Pederson, 93, of Benson, Minnesota, died Friday, September 23, 2016 in the Swift County Benson Hospital.  Interment will be held at a later date in the Swift Falls Cemetery.

Palmer R. Pederson was born October 27, 1922 in Swift Falls, Minnesota to Peter Johan and Dena Marie (Amundson) Pederson.  He grew up and attended school in Pope County.  

September 24, 1947, Palmer was united in marriage to Eleanor C. Anderson by Pastor Rohne at St. Pauli Church.  This union was blessed with just one day short of 69 years of marriage.  They lived in Swift Falls, Pope County and he worked in farming and at Anderson Ready Mix Plant.  His interests included fishing, hunting, and woodworking.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 12, 2016 (today) at 11 a.m., at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson with Father Jeremy Kucera officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church, with the Rosary starting at 10 a.m.

   Eunice Ann Quick, 96, of Benson, MN formerly of Nevis, MN was called to her eternal resting place on October 4, 2016 at the Gabriel House Assisted Living Home in Murdock, MN.

   Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Nevis Church of Christ in Nevis, MN.  Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5 until 7 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Nevis, MN.  Visitation will also be held for 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.  Co-Officiants will be Pastor Paul Bowles and Pastor Barry Klein.  Interment will be held at the Lakeview Cemetery in Nevis, MN.  Friends may leave online condolences at ceasefuneralhome.com.   Arrangements are being handled by the Cease Family Funeral Home of Nevis, MN.

Lewis Theodore “Ted” Jacobson, 72, of Sartell, Minnesota, passed away  Friday, September 30, 2016 peacefully in his sleep, at the VA Hospice Unit in St. Cloud.

A funeral service was held at 12:30 p.m.  Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Sartell. Visitation was held at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids, from 6-8 p.m.  Wednesday, Oct. 5. Burial took place Friday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls.

Ted was born in Benson, Minnesota  March 14, 1944 to Clarence & Viola (Soltau) Jacobson. He graduated from Benson High School in 1962.

Hjordis (Jo) Dahlberg, 89, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016  at home in Dellwood, Minnesota.

A funeral service was held Monday, October 3  at 11:30 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Luthern Church, 900 Stillwater Rd., Mahtomedi. Visitation was one hour prior at the church.

Hjordis (Jo) Dahlberg was born in Swift County, Minnesota and was raised in Danvers. She graduated from Benson High School in 1944 and subsequently attended Minneapolis Business College. In Minneapolis, Jo met and married her husband Robert (Bob) Dahlberg. They raised four children in the Falcon Heights area until 1963 when they moved to Dellwood. Bob passed away in 1981, and Jo continued to live in Dellwood until she died.

Jozy Lyn Saterbak, age 23, of Danvers, died Thursday in Swift County –Benson Hospital.  Visitation will be Tuesday, September 27th, 5:00PM to 7PM, at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson.  Visitation will resume from 12 Noon to 1:00PM, Wednesday, followed by the funeral service at 1:00PM at the church.  Burial will follow in the Our Redeemer Lutheran Cemetery.
