Swift Fishing League completes 12th season

The Swift Fishing League started in 2009 when a group of guys got together and thought it would be a great time and more motivation to get out fishing every week around the area.  Not even the COVID-19 outbreak could stop the Swift Fishing League from getting in its 12th straight season this spring.  We’ve been covering the Swift Fishing League for 12 seasons now in the Monitor-News, and readers continually make positive comments about the fishing league and how much they enjoy reading about the fishing in the area.
