Storm pull out close wins over PC and Luverne

The MBA boys hockey team is one of the hottest teams this winter.  The Storm, who haven’t had a winning season since 2012-2013, improved to 8-1 overall with a pair of wins last week in Benson.

The Storm beat Prairie Center at home, Thursday, Dec. 19, and also won at home, Friday, Dec. 20 over Luverne, 4-3 in overtime.

The Storm were set to host the MBA Invitational in Morris, Dec. 27-28, but results of that competition were not available by presstime.

This week, MBA was set to skate at Windom Area, Friday, and at Worthington, Saturday.
