State asks Swift County to finish election certification

Swift County has been notified by the Minnesota Secretary of State’s office that it has not yet fully complied with the certification of results for last November’s general election.

The oversight is a technicality for ensuring that the county’s election machines are operating properly. It happened while the county was in a transition between the resignation of Auditor Kim Saterbak and filing the position.
