Six wrestlers win titles at Braves Classic

The Benson wrestling team was finally able to get in the Braves Wrestling Classic after three tries, but only three teams were able to participate due to continued severe winter weather throughout the state.  The Braves had six individual champions during the tournament, which eventually took place Monday, Dec. 30.  The Braves also competed at the Paynesville quadrangular, Thursday, going 0-3 with losses to KMS (45-34), Howard Lake-WW (42-36), and Paynesville (40-36).  A recap of the Paynesville quad can be found in separate story.

Benson is set to take part in a quadrangular at Morris Area, Thursday (tomorrow), with ACGC and Minnewaska Area also set to compete, before wrestling at the Parkers Prairie Invitational, Saturday...
