Six Braves and Saints nominated for H-R Award

The West Central Tribune came out with its 2021 Hengstler-Ranweiler Awards nominees recently.  The H-R awards are presented annually to west central Minnesota’s outstanding senior male and female three-sport athletes.

Nominated for the award from Benson were Ben Peterson and Marissa Connelly, and nominated from KMS were Isaac Call, Maret Gjerde, Lauren Krieger, and Makenna Kelley.

Nominees must have competed in three sports through their senior years and earned All-Conference honors in at least two of their sports at some point in their careers.  Athletes who have had a MSHSL violation are not eligible for the award...
