Schmidt resigns as elementary principal, athletic director

Elementary Principal and Athletic Director Garret Schmidt has resigned his position with Benson Public Schools to take a job as the superintendent of the Doland, S.D., schools.
The school district will now be advertising to fill the two positions. Schmidt will complete the current school year with the Benson schools.
