Saints fall just short of Camden title

Lead Summary

The KMS softball team fell just short of winning another Camden Conference title after splitting a pair of games with RTR, Thursday.  The Saints also split with Tracy Area last Tuesday night, 5-4 and 2-4, giving KMS a 14-4 overall record and 13-3 mark within the Camden Conference.
Lac qui Parle claimed the Camden title with a 14-2 league mark.  The Eagles and Saints split a doubleheader to open up the season.
A recap of the RTR doubleheader will be highlighted in next week’s paper.  KMS won the first game, 7-6, but lost the second in another one-run game, 8-7.
