Rain gets the best of girls tennis team

The Benson-KMS girls tennis team opened up the season Saturday, Aug. 21 with a split of matches at the Benson triangular.  The Fighting Braves beat Pipestone (5-2) but also lost to Luverne (4-3).

Last week, the Fighting Braves were pitted against Mother Nature and everyone knows who won as Benson-KMS had not one, but two, postponements due to weather.

Benson-KMS did get in a match at NLS last Tuesday.  It was supposed to be a triangular, but was switched to a single match and the Wildcats shut out the Fighting Braves 7-0...
