Public hearing on B-2 building moratorium Monday, Aug. 7

At its Aug. 7 meeting, the Benson City Council will conduct a public hearing on a resolution to approve an interim ordinance declaring a moratorium construction in a B-2 district along Atlantic Avenue.

The B2 district is one block deep and is bordered by Utah Avenue on the north and Atlantic Avenue on the south.  It includes residential properties but also the Meadow Lane Restorative Care facility and the Dairy Queen. At its eastern end is 15th Street North and at its western edge is Golf Road between the Benson Golf Club and the DQ.
