    MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 777, Benson, Minnesota
 Monday, November 3, 2014 – 12:00 p.m. –
Benson High School District Office
The meeting was called to order at 12:07 p.m. by Chair Chad Payne.  Members present:  Andy Abner, Jodi DeJong-Hughes, Bill McGeary, Al Pagel and Chad Payne.
Members absent:  Marlene Molden and Gary Williams.  Also present:  Dennis Laumeyer, Dave Benson, Paul Youngquist and Pam Anderson.
Routine consent agenda items were approved.
A presentation to the Benson City Council on a walking track option was approved.  
Paul Youngquist and Supt. Laumeyer provided information on facilities improvement plans, meetings and information. Discussion took place regarding estimated costs and options. The board approved administration to make an application to the MN Department of Education (MDE) for review and comment of building project.
